Let's move!

This activity is based on actions (skate, ski, dance, run and jump) and Present Continuous.

You can pre-teach the vocabulary and show them this chart to check understanding (they will need it for the following activity):

Skate   Ski    Dance    Run  Jump

The boy is skating The boy is skiing     The girl is dancing Grandpa is running  The kangaroo is jumping

The second one is a writing activity, where they have to write the correct action (ski, jump...) and the correct sentence (the boy is skiing, the kangaroo is jumping...) next to the correct the picture. For example:
